This study investigating the characteristics of Sida Rhombifolia fibre has found that the tensile properties of the raw and bleached fibres are similar to those of jute, ramie and kenaf and it needs to be softened and enzymatic scoured to determine its spinnability as well as the application of the spun yarn in textile production or in the craft industry.
