The article explains the use of the Rite of Christian Inititiation of Adults (RCIA) as the basis for high school catechesis. RCIA was designed for those who wants to enter the way of the faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opened their hearts after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed. The author says Catholic high school curriculum usually begins with an exploration of the faith that is followed by a period of evangelization and pre-catechumenate. |
