The article discusses the clinical findings and treatment of six cases of guttural pouch mycosis that occurred in non-stabled horses from several geographical locations in New Zealand. The horses were referred to either the Canterbury Equine Clinic or the Massey University Veterinary Teaching Hospital for diagnosis and treatment. It notes that all horses, which include one from the North Island and five from the South Island, had experienced epistaxis within 14 days of presentation. |
