The article focuses on the importance of assessing wind direction in prairie gardens. It states that wind is both beneficial and harmful for perennials because it may cause damages during storm or it may provide better air circulation for plants. It further states that gardeners should small trees and hedging shrubs create screening for wind while Virginia creeper can also obstruct wind direction. |
