| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the rights of official language minority communities in the Senate of Canada. It also interprets the linguistic and democratic rights provided by the Canadian Constitution including constitutional principle of protection of minorities. It mentions that the democratic rights may be violated by the adoption of reforms which are aimed to encourage the election of candidates for the Senate. |
