Abstrakt: A chapter from the book "Governance, Conflict Analysis and Conflict Resolution" featuring the paper "Inner City Reprisal Homicides: A Case Study" is presented. It looks at the impact of Peace Management Initiative (PMI) which was established in January 2002 to defuse explosions of violence in Jamaica's capital city of Kingston and nearby urban areas. The issues PMI faced and the methods it employed in 2002 and 2003 as well as PMI's handling of the Mountain View conflict are also discussed.
