The article presents a study on the treatment of interpretative, traditional, and activist notions in "The Quill" and "Columbia Journalism Review" (CJR) publications since 1965. It states that "The Quill" was selected to represent the thought of the U.S. Society of Professional Journalists. It mentions that all issues of magazines were examined to determine changes. Results show that both journals gave more mentions to traditional themes and suggests that traditional ideas were developed more. |
