The article focuses on the relations between the U.S. and Vietnam since after the Vietnam War. The Vietnamese government has been asking the U.S. government to eliminate the former country of Agent Orange, a chemical used by the U.S. troops to eliminate plants used by Communist troops for cover during the Vietnam War. The improved relations between 2 countries caused the U.S. to become the top importer of Vietnamese goods, as U.S. businesses invested 10 billion dollars in Vietnam. |
