Abstrakt: The article presents a study that compared the prevalence of obsessive-compulsive symptoms (OCS) among patients with schizophrenia who are either taking clozapine, olanzapine or risperidone or no antipsychotic medication. The naturalistic cross-sectional study of 543 patients with schizophrenia and related disorders revealed significantly higher prevalence of OCS in patients with schizophrenia treated with clozapine, particularly for those who have taken clozapine for at least six months.
