Recently, the museum pedagogy began to investigate the matter of education of seniors on a professional level. Playful animation represents one of the favourite forms vivifying the activities in a museum. Various methods of animation strive to use the principle of game as a form of social learning and a possibility how to forget “the troubles of old age”. Already Comenius in his work Schola Ludus praises the meaning of role-playing methods in educational process, namely in the whole course of life. Then, the specific environment of a cultural institution offers an experience to seniors, together with the possibility of reflective dialogue. Up to the present, the Great Didactic and Pampaedia by Comenius provide for an educational plan that is most complex in all aspects - “the system of education of adult people up to old age and death”.
