The article discusses a study to evaluate the efficacy of use of a data management software program to help implement tighter glycemic control (TGC) and improve outcomes in the case of diabetic patients. Clinicians were provided access to real-time blood glucose (BG) result reports. The findings indicated that access to real-time BG reports through a data management software program helped to significantly improve efficacy of the TGC program. |
