Abstrakt: The article focuses on indications of the Bulwer's Petrel Bulweria bulwerii breeding in the South Atlantic. Two instances of the small, burrow-nesting seabird being found on St Helena island are presented wherein identification was made based on the wedge-shaped tails, plumage coloration, and morphological measurements which were smaller than the related Jouanin's Petrel Bulweria fallax or the extinct Bulweria bifax . Both birds having avascular brood patches is discussed as leading to speculations of unknown breeding colonies in the South Atlantic.
