Abstrakt: The article focuses on the cultural movement surrealism, mostly attributed to visual artworks and writings. The author argues that composers from the 1920's, 1930's, such as Maurice Ravel, Francis Poulenc, or Alfredo Casella, could be qualified as surrealist artists and not neoclassicism artists as commonly done.
