Beyond Brick.

Abstrakt: The article discusses building materials other than brick in historic buildings in Michigan as of December 2012. The article examines wigwams constructed with saplings and bark by Native Americans in the territory that became Michigan. The article also discusses the use of cobblestones, adobe, and glass bottles that were used in the construction of dwellings by settlers and architects in Michigan, as well as the use of poured concrete, concrete block, and Styrofoam.
