Abstrakt:	The article deals with the issue of homosexuality in cricket particularly in Great Britain. The contrasting reactions to the public announcements by Surrey wicket-keeper Stephen Davies and Lancashire and England fast bowler James Anderson about their sexuality are tackled. According to the author, the issues about image, masculinity and virility still exists in professional cricket. The author notes that homosexuality is no longer a taboo subject in rugby and cricket should follow suit.
