The article discusses a court case wherein the plaintiff and the petitioner apply for competing interim injunctions, each restraining the other in relation to a program of exploration work in an area of the traditional territory of the Tsilhqot'in Nation. The petitioner sought an injunction preventing the plaintiff, a gold and copper mining company, to progress with work until an application for judicial review of the decisions to issue Notice of Work and licence permits have been adjudicated. |
