Film Satire A Case Study of Aesthetic Norms.

Abstrakt: The article present a case study of one particular aspect of satire, in two films "Bob Roberts," and "Forrest Gump." It is also analyzed how both films are positioned as per the historically specific aesthetic norms. According to the author, both cases refer to a question of representational reflexivity. As stated, the satire in both the films relies on historically determined aesthetic norms for its function.
