Abstrakt: The article discusses a research study which documented the association of urinary naphthol metabolites with chromosomal aberrations, including translocations, in five-year old urban minority children. The sturdy examined the link between chromosomal aberrations and concurrent concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) metabolites measured in urine. The researchers recorded the levels of occurrence and frequency of chromosomal aberrations in lymphocytes.
