The article discusses the concept of the design and features of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) floating, storage and regasification unit (FSRU) topside regasification plant. The engineering aspects of designing the topside regasification system are also explained. The LNG FSRU plant was designed to produce 4.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). It was installed with vaporizers that could withstand the FSRU motions during operational and weather conditions. |
