Abstrakt:	The article reports on the increase of green-designed roofs in France in 2011. It says that the trend is part of architects and builders' aim to lessen the impact of climate change and promote sustainable development. It notes that the ecological construction design of roofs started in Stuttgart, Germany in the 1980s.
