The article offers information on rare birds included in the Scottish Birds Records Committee's (SBRC) 2010 report. The Egyptian Goose Alophochen aegyptiacus sighted from February 24 to March 25 is the first record of the bird for Scotland. Some of other rare birds sighted in Scotland in 2010 include White-billed Diver Gava adamsii, Continental Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis, and Great White Egret Ardea alba. |
