| Abstrakt: |
The article describes cases of vertical transmission of macular telangiectasia type 2 and type 2 diabetes mellitus in three families. It discusses the identification of symptomatic and asymptomatic eyes with macular telangiectasia type 2. A mother and son in two families were diagnosed with macular telangiectasia type 2 after experiencing visual loss. The cases showed that vision can remain preserved in macular telangiectasia type 2 and that patients may go undiagnosed. |
