Abstrakt: |
The article highlights a study which investigated the microencapsulation of the probiotics Lactobacillus helveticus. The wall materials used in the microencapsulation are sodium alginate + starch and sodium alginate + gelatin +starch. Different sizes of needles and emulsifier concentrations were also used in preparing the beads. Results of the study concluded that the microencapsulation beads can be stored in water overnight before use. |
