| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a study by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy which aims to develop an effective seed germination mix from locally produced materials. The researchers have used local ingredients for its germination trial media recipes which include sifted compost, boiled rice hulls, earthworm castings, and fine grade perlite. The study indicates that simple modification to the recipes will be able to produce a sustainable germination medium for plant nurseries. |
