Abstrakt: The article focuses on the improvement made by geomembrane temperature curtains on salmon habitat in California Central Valley. It mentions that the curtain selectively withdraws cold water for salmon spawning and diverts it to Sacramento River. The history of the Central Valley Project and the Whiskeytown Reservoir is discussed. A diagram of the geomembrane layout and the stratified water flow are also presented.
