| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the viability of vertical farming, a form of urban agriculture which takes place in skyscrapers. It notes the origin of the idea from professor of microbiology and public health at the University of Colombia Dickson Despommier, as well as comments on efforts by the French Laboratiore d'urbanisme agricole (LUA), a french urban agricultural research lab, to develop vertical farming. It notes the potential of more efficient space utilization. |
