The article reviews the major changes and challenges of the new Office of Student Education (Ofsted) framework. While data remains central to any inspection, it will take into account international comparisons like the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) and Trends in International Maths and Science Study (TIMSS). One major change to the framework is a school must have outstanding teaching to be grated Outstanding. |
