How safe is supermarket chicken?

Abstrakt: The article discusses the test conducted by "Which?" experts to determine the safety of chickens sold in supermarkets in Great Britain. The test revealed that one in five supermarket chickens were contaminated with campylobacter and 17% with listeria, which can both cause food poisoning. The effort of the Joint Working Group to deal with campylobacter by introducing improved biosecurity measures is noted. The role of consumer in helping reduce contamination is emphasized.
