Abstrakt: The article focuses on the impact of U.S. protection to foreign copyright on the use of mass media. It states that a U.S. Supreme Court decision in the case Golan. V. Holder which ruled the Uruguay Round Agreements Act of 1994 (URAA) fits with the authority of the U.S. Congress' ability to adjust copyright law. It also mentions that the exploitation of foreign works after the case required parties to license intended use, assume copyright infringement, or avoid the works altogether.
