The article offers the authors' insights on the state legislative activities of the Kansas Respiratory Care Society (KRCS). The authors state that KRCS experienced a lengthy struggle before its registration was accomplished in 1987 and throughout the process, learned the importance of lobbying, and learning and understanding the process of politics. They mention that to mark the 20th annual Legislative Day of the society, it conducts its activity for 2012 in Washington, D.C. from Topeka. |
