The article focuses on the path sustainability taken in education abroad and highlights some unique sustainable education abroad programs. It discusses the efforts made by international educators to make education abroad sustainable economically, environmentally and culturally to help students become better citizens of the world. Sustainable education abroad programs that were mentioned include the Green Passport program, partnerships with institutions for sustainability, and ecovillages. |
