| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a study that assessed the influence of varied levels of dietary sulphur on the relative rumen metabolic profile, gas production and dry matter (DM) degradation of paddy straw by anaerobic fungi obtained from adult cattle and buffalo. Significant improvement in the ruminal disappearance of DM was reported by sulphur supplementation. Findings show that in vitro gas production is compatible with in vitro DM digestion. |
