| Abstrakt: |
The article describes the case of a 2-year-old boy with fever, sore throat, non productive cough and decreased appetite. He was first brought to an outpatient emergency hospital where he was diagnosed with croup. The symptoms did not change, so he was brought to a second hospital where he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease and given laboratory examinations prior to the treatment. Management consists of antibiotic therapy and when the abscess is large, incision and drainage is recommended. |
