| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the need to shift U.S. war strategy in Afghanistan after a decade of bloodshed. It imposes that instead of simply training its security forces, U.S. combat forces should go on the offensive mode, smashing the enemies and radically reduce the Taliban and al-Qaeda's military capability. The article also reflects on the possibility of empowering and fortifying of U.S. enemies if U.S. forces are to withdraw from Afghanistan, without establishing security there. |
