Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the opinion testimony and the law governing lay and expert opinion. It examines the relationship between witness experience and opinion testimony and the risks entailed in admitting opinion testimony. It discusses guidelines in determining the admissibility of the experienced based opinion including rules governing the lay opinion. It also discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Kumho Tire Co. v. Carmichael.
