The article presents an interview of Rick Lugg and Ruth Fischer, partners from Sustainable Collection Services (SCS). When asked about the services of the company, they describe SCS as a deselection tool for academic libraries with overstocked periodicals. They comment on the difficulties of convincing libraries to trim the collections which they have spent so much time growing. |
