| Abstrakt: |
The author offers information on the projects of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Programs Agency (DARPA) since 1958. He notes DARPA has fueled innovation, which include the successes of the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANet), which is the precursor of the Internet, computer mouse, global positioning satellites, Saturn V rocket and a lot others. However, he notes that it is only recently that DARPA became involved in multidisciplinary research in the field of neuroscience. |
