Comparative study of methods for moving vehicles noise measurement and visualization.

Abstrakt: It is important to identify and locate the sound sources correctly and quickly in controlling vehicle noise. Visualization method makes it more efficient and intuitive in locating noise sources and displaying sound field in real time. Currently, there are three noise visualization methods widely used in measuring moving vehicle noise: the far-field acoustic holography method, short-time beam forming method and dynamic wave superposition method. In this paper, the theoretical analysis and simulation of the comparative study of the three methods were taken, and simulation and experiment system were built based on these three methods.
