The article discusses the highlights of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) Second International Symposium on Genetically Modified Organisms in Horticultre (GM2011) held in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa on September 11-15, 2011. Eighty participants from 21 countries including South and North America, Africa and Australia attended the symposium. Speakers included Muffy Koch from Canada, Bart Panis from Belgium and Leena Tripathi from Kenya. |
