The article describes a case study in Indonesia which identified pegadological values obtained from a language class in the context of English as a foreign language (EFL). The study, which was conducted in an English classroom consisting of mixedability adult learners, focused on three aspects of the language class. They are the lesson, the classroom interaction and the teacher-learner power relations. The main and subsidiary aims of the language lesson are discussed. |
