The article presents information on the U.S. District Court case Otte v. Life Ins. Co. of North America in which putative class action was filed by the beneficiary of life insurance policy against the defendants. The allegations regarding the violations of the U.S. Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 were made on the defendants and the plaintiff moved for class certification. The plaintiff's motion for class certification was granted in part by the Court. |
