The article discusses the significance of chiropractic physicians in primary care in the U.S. It presents the statement of Douglas Cater, special assistant to the U.S. president, during the 95th Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA) which addressed the Comprehensive Health Planning and Public Health Services Amendments of 1966. It emphasizes that chiropractic physicians must exert effort to integrate the profession into the health care system in the country. |
