| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information on a brown cane sugar called Demerara sugar with respect to defamation and sovereign immunity defense. It states that the brown sugar is produced in Mauritius and sold under the label of Guyana as Demerara Gold. It further states that the sugar is sold by a company Bedessee Imports Ltd. to the Canadian consumers with the map of Guyana. Information on the scope of commercial activity with reference to the sovereign immunity is also presented. |
