| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of a three-year-old Hispanic boy who had suffered from fever, vomiting, abdominal pain and shortness of breath. The boy, who had received heptavalent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV7) before the date of presentation, was diagnosed with necrotizing pneumonia. He was treated with intravenous ceftriaxone, vancomycin and azithromycin. |
