The article presents a review of the proposed Traffic Relief and Improved Options (TRIO) Plan in Chicago, Illinois. TRIO aims at forming a transportation plan to reduce gridlock while commutation on roads. It focuses on framing more progressive congestion pricing policies that could generate transit-supporting revenues. The main points of the plan include value pricing tolls, balanced distribution of revenues, and equity. |
