The article discusses the court case Ruggles v. Wellpoint, Inc. wherein collective action was filed by the registered nurses against the employer under the Fair Labor Standards Act of the U.S. alleging violations of the wage and hour laws of New York, Illinois and California. The motion for class certification was filed by the plaintiff. The district court of the U.S. denied the plaintiff's motion. |
