Abstrakt:	The article examines the role of a Catholic school trustee in the U.S. Trustees in Catholic schools are expected to deal with matters brought before the school board and to have knowledge about issues that are usually discussed during board and committee meetings. Catholic school trustees are subjected to duties of care and loyalty as specified in state laws. Under the care of duty provision, trustees are allowed to make decisions that fall under the business judgment rule.
