The article reports on the developments in New Zealand's theatrical production industry in 2011. It was reportedly a strong year for the industry in Auckland due to the opening of a new performing venue and several successful shows. There were standout productions in Wellington including "When the Rain Stops Falling" and "August: Osage County." An auditorium in Christchurch was earthquake-proofed and insulated with comfortable seating. |
