Abstrakt: The article analyzes the mediating role of hope in the relationship between positive affect and work-related attitudes. Noted is the impact of future possibilities on the formation of present-day work-related attitudes. Hope, which is defined in the article as a positive expectancy toward future events that is directed toward goal-attainment, requires interplay between the cognitive functions agency and pathway. It is also said that hope will mediate positive affect and job satisfaction.
