The article reports on an investigation conducted by researchers of "Which?" magazine which found that local authorities are not offering sufficient help for people who are funding long-term care independently. Researchers used Freedom of Information requests and found that over 50% of local authorities in England and Wales said they did not keep records of individuals who were funding long-term are independently. |
